OFFICE R&T is an office for architecture, interior design, and research, founded on ideas developed within the master studio Rom og Teknikk at AHO, the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, and with the reality of today’s architecture.

It is not the program which is our most important agenda, but the embodiment of ideas on the experience of spaces and of different techniques to make them into beautiful, sustainable everyday architecture.

Technique should be understood in its double meaning, as a tool for imagining and representing spaces and as an inventive tectonic know-how to make them present as architectonic answers to the contemporary architectural condition.

The office has experience in making houses, schools, kindergartens, new types of offices and apartment buildings, small houses to retreat, farms, infrastructures, and landscapes, as well as books and re-use projects. The constructions are of different architectural scales, both private and public, urban and landscape, modest and monumental.
